Why is it better to use Natural Ingredients & what do we use?

The importance of natural ingredients doesn't end with the foods we eat. Your skin is your body's largest organ, one that is porous and absorbs much of what is applied to it. This is why knowing the ingredients in your skincare, body care, and beauty products is critical. At YUNI Beauty, we use a wide variety of Earth's most effective natural ingredients. We've created a natural ingredient guide to help you understand what is in each of our products.

There are many reasons to use natural ingredients in your everyday beauty and skincare routines, the first being that there are fewer side effects. Many conventional beauty products contain chemicals and fillers, including parabens and phthalates. These chemicals interfere with our bodies' natural hormones, affecting fertility and reproductive organs and even increasing the risk of cancer.

Natural skin care products are gentler, making them ideal for treating acne and dry skin. Those with sensitive skin will truly benefit from the milder formulas and more nourishing ingredients. The unnecessary and harmful chemicals in most conventional skin care products can cause skin irritations and overdrying, often exacerbating the issue. When you use all-natural products, you choose health for your whole body.

Natural products contain beneficial compounds, like vitamins and essential oils. These naturally derived ingredients are frequently more potent than the lab-made versions, which are usually an attempt at replicating what comes from nature.

Check out our natural ingredients guide to determine which vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids will improve the health of your complexion.

Beauty Products - What Does "Natural Ingredients" Mean?

Natural skin care products use ingredients found in nature and are free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, sulfates, parabens, and phthalates. Using elements from nature to relieve skin issues is nothing new. Thousands of years ago, the first skin and hair products were composed of plants, botanical extracts, and essential oils.

The FDA doesn't regulate the word "natural," but the USDA regulates organic. Organic products do not contain synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or other artificial agents. Therefore, when shopping for natural skin care products, choosing a company that is transparent about the ingredients they use is essential.

Even high-quality natural products can cause irritation or allergic reactions. Always read ingredient labels before purchasing products, and don't be afraid to ask questions. But for the most part, as long as you aren't allergic to the ingredients themselves, natural skincare brands don't come with as many potential reactions as their synthetic counterparts.

What Natural Ingredients Are Good For Skin?

Some ingredients in skin care products are better for your skin than others. While the term "natural" has no regulated definition, there are certain ingredients found in nature that are proven to be good for your skin.

Natural skin care products contain the most powerful moisturizing ingredients in the world. Nothing can replicate the nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids found within the seeds and nuts of an actual plant.

Shea Butter is naturally rich in skin-loving vitamins A, E, F, and essential fatty acids. The rich emollient extracted from the nut of the shea tree dates back to the time of Cleopatra, who used it to condition her skin and hair.

Other dry skin savers are jojoba oil and coconut oil, which rejuvenate and protect the skin's barrier.

Green tea extract, turmeric root, and neem extract are incredibly beneficial in treating aging and acne-prone skin. Instead of stripping the skin of its natural oils, these ingredients gently kill bacteria and soothe inflammation.
